Gautam Gambhir has been appointed as the head coach of the Indian cricket team, as confirmed by BCCI secretary Jay Shah on social media on July 09 (Tuesday).

The former Indian cricketer will succeed Rahul Dravid, whose tenure concluded after the T20 World Cup 2024.
