Will Finish Lawrence Bishnoi: Eknath Shinde
The government stands with you,” Eknath Shinde assured Salman Khan
Maharashtra Chief Minister Eknath Shinde met actor Salman Khan this afternoon, following recent gunfire outside the actor’s residence in Mumbai’s Bandra. Security was heightened around the actor’s home upon the Chief Minister’s arrival.
Mr. Khan greeted the Chief Minister outside and escorted him into his home. Inside, Mr. Shinde met and shook hands with the actor’s father, renowned screenplay writer Salim Khan, politician Baba Siddiqui, and his son Zeeshan.
“The government stands with you,” Eknath Shinde assured Salman Khan. “Both suspects have been apprehended and will be thoroughly interrogated. We are determined to uncover the truth behind this incident. No one will be spared for such actions. No one should be targeted in this manner,” he told reporters outside the actor’s residence.
“We will not tolerate any gang or gang wars. We will put an end to Lawrence Bishnoi,” he added.
Early on Sunday at around 5 am, two men on a motorcycle fired four shots outside Galaxy Apartments in Bandra, where the actor resides with his family.
The arrested individuals, identified by CCTV footage, arrived carrying backpacks and wearing caps. They were captured firing towards the actor’s residence. One suspect wore a white t-shirt, a black jacket, and denim pants, while the other was dressed in a red t-shirt and denim pants.
According to police sources, the duo are members of a gang led by the notorious gangster Lawrence Bishnoi, who is currently incarcerated in Tihar Jail for several high-profile murders, including those of singer-politician Sidhu Moose Wala and Rajput leader and Karni Sena chief Sukhdev Singh Gogamedi.
