Nandini Dairy to Make Global Debut as Sponsor for Ireland and Scotland in T20 World Cup 2024

Karnataka’s state-owned dairy brand, Nandini, is gearing up to shine on the international stage by sponsoring the Ireland and Scotland cricket teams in the upcoming T20 World Cup, scheduled for June this year. This landmark move marks the first instance of a home-grown brand stepping into the realm of international cricket sponsorship.

MK Jagadish, the managing director of Karnataka Milk Federation (KMF), which oversees Nandini, confirmed the sponsorship deal in a statement to the news agency PTI. “We are excited to announce our sponsorship of both Ireland and Scotland cricket teams in the T20 World Cup. Our brand will prominently feature during the matches,” said Jagadish.

Expansion into the U.S. Energy Drink Market

In addition to its venture into international sports sponsorship, Nandini is set to launch its whey-based energy drink, ‘Nandini Splash,’ in the United States market.

Our aim is to make Nandini a focal point during the World Cup.

The eagerly awaited T20 World Cup is set to commence on June 4, immediately after the conclusion of the ongoing Indian Premier League (IPL).

  • The tournament will be jointly hosted by the United States of America (USA) and the West Indies, promising an exciting display of cricketing talent on the international stage.
