French President Emmanuel Macron, who is the chief guest for the 75th Republic Day, has arrived in Jaipur as part of his two-day State visit to India. He is set to participate in the Republic Day Parade 2024.

During his extensive stay, Macron will tour Jaipur’s impressive Amber fort, the iconic Hawa Mahal, and the astronomical observation site of Jantar Mantar.

The discussions are anticipated to include India’s proposed acquisition of 26 Rafale-M (marine version) fighter jets and three Scorpene submarines.

On January 26, Emmanuel Macron will witness the Republic Day celebrations as the Chief Guest.

A 95-member marching contingent and a 33-member band contingent from France will join the parade. Additionally, two Rafale fighter jets and an Airbus A330 multi-role tanker transport aircraft from the French air force will be featured in the festivities.
