Atul Subhash’s wife Nikita Singhania arrested from Gurgaon
Days after Bengaluru resident Atul Subhash allegedly died by suicide, accusing his wife of harassment, Bengaluru police arrested his wife, Nikita Singhania, along with her mother, Nisha, and brother, Anurag, on Saturday morning.

According to a senior police officer, Nikita was detained in Gurugram, Haryana, while Nisha and Anurag were arrested in Allahabad, Uttar Pradesh.
- The three have been charged under sections 108 (abetment of suicide) and 3(5) (criminal act with common intention) of the Indian Penal Code.
- They have also been accused of demanding Rs 3 crore to withdraw cases filed against Atul and Rs 30 lakh for allowing him visitation rights to his son.
- The accused were presented before a court and sent to judicial custody.
The Bengaluru Police sought assistance from their Uttar Pradesh counterparts to track down the suspects after Nisha and Anurag reportedly fled their home in Jaunpur on Wednesday night.
- Investigators even pasted a notice on the locked doors of Nisha’s residence in Jaunpur during their search.
- The arrests mark a significant development in the high-profile case.
