Virat Kohli, the former India captain, shared a glimpse of his “dream home” in Alibaug on social media. On Tuesday, Kohli posted a video on X (formerly Twitter), showcasing the 12-month journey of creating his luxurious home, featuring lavish interiors and a beautiful garden.

The 35-year-old cricketer shared a 62-second clip of his new “holiday home” in Awas, a serene area on the outskirts of Alibaug known for its clean shores due to minimal tourism.

He captioned the post: “The journey of building my Alibaug home has been a seamless experience, and seeing it all come together is truly gratifying. Huge thanks to the entire Avas team for making our dream home a reality. Can’t wait to enjoy every moment here with my loved ones!”

In the video, Kohli discussed his reasons for choosing the project, the amenities available, and the highlights of his new home.

Currently, Kohli is taking a break from international cricket after playing a crucial role in India’s historic win at the T20 World Cup on June 29 in Barbados. He scored a match-winning 76 off 59 balls in the final against South Africa, leading India to a narrow seven-run victory.

After celebrating in India, which included a team meeting with Prime Minister Narendra Modi in New Delhi and a felicitation ceremony at Mumbai’s Wankhede Stadium, Kohli headed to London to join his wife Anushka and their children.

Kohli is expected to return to action for the three-match ODI series in Sri Lanka next month, marking the beginning of India’s preparations for the 2025 Champions Trophy.
