Lok Sabha Election 2024: Smriti Irani’s Big Defeat in Amethi

In Amethi, Congress’ Kishori Lal Sharma defeated BJP’s Smriti Irani by 167,196 votes.

Kishori Lal has registered a victory against Smriti Irani by a margin of 167,196 votes. Sharma received a total of 539,228 votes, while Smriti Irani garnered 372,032 votes.

After this result, Smriti Irani said, “I think today is a day to express gratitude to the public and to congratulate those who have won. It is in the nature of the organization to analyze, and the organization will analyze.
Without naming the Congress candidate, she congratulated him.
She then said, “As a public representative, it has been my privilege to work by visiting every village.
Regardless of the defeat or victory, I have connected with people, and this is a great fortune of my life.”
