Krystyna Pyszkova Wins Miss World 2024 Title
Krystyna Pyszkova of Czech Republic, won the Miss World 2024 title on March 9 in Mumbai. She’s the second Miss World from the Czech Republic after Tatana Kucharova in 2006.
The 71st Miss World pageant had contestants from 112 countries and was held at the Jio World Convention Centre in Mumbai. Miss Lebanon Yasmina Zaytoun was the first runner-up.
About Krystyna Pyszkova
Krystyna, in her 20s, is pursuing degrees in law and business administration.
- She founded the Krystyna Pyszko Foundation and is passionate about sustainable development through education. She’s fluent in English, Polish, Slovak, and German.
Accomplishments
Krystyna’s proudest moment was opening an English school for underprivileged children in Tanzania where she volunteered.
Indian Representation
India, hosting the event after 28 years, was represented by 22-year-old Sini Shetty, who was crowned Femina Miss India World in 2022. However, she couldn’t make it to the top 4.

The panel included notable figures like film producer Sajid Nadiadwala, actors Kriti Sanon, Pooja Hegde, former cricketer Harbhajan Singh, news personality Rajat Sharma, social worker Amruta Fadnavis; Vineet Jain, MD of Bennett, Coleman & Co. Limited; Julia Morley, Chairperson and CEO of the Miss World Organization; Jamil Saidi, Strategic Partner & Host – Miss World India, and three former Miss Worlds, including Chillar.
India’s Legacy
India has won the Miss World title six times with winners including Reita Faria, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, Priyanka Chopra Jonas, and Manushi Chillar.
