Farokh Engineer and Ravi Shastri honoured with Col. C.K. Nayudu Lifetime Achievement Awards

At the BCCI annual awards ceremony, the prestigious Col. C.K. Nayudu Lifetime Achievement Awards were presented to former India wicket-keeper Farokh Engineer and all-rounder Ravi Shastri.

Honoring Indian cricket and acknowledging outstanding performances in both domestic and international arenas, the Naman Awards for the past four seasons (2019-20, 2020-21, 2021-22, and 2022-23) were conferred on January 23 in Hyderabad. The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) recognized outstanding performances in both men’s and women’s cricket for the 2019-20 season during the event.

Farokh Engineer, born on February 25, 1938, in Bombay (now Mumbai), India, is a former Indian cricketer who played as a wicketkeeper-batsman. His full name is Farokh Maneksha Engineer.

The awards for Best International Cricketer – Women go to Deepti Sharma for 2019-20, Smriti Mandhana for 2020-22 and Deepti Sharma for 2022-2023.

Best International Debut Men

The awards go to Mayank Agarwal for 2019-20, Axar Patel for 2020-21 Shreyas Iyer for 2021-22 and Yashasvi Jaiswal for 2022-23.

Best International Debut Women

The awards go to Priya Punia for 2019-20, Shafali Verma for 2020-21S Meghana for 2021-22 and Amanjot Kaur for 2022-23.

Best Umpire Domestic Cricket

The awards go to KN Ananthpadmanaban for 2019-20, Vrinda Rathi for 2020-21, Jayraman Madan Gopal for 2021-22 and Rohan Pandit for 2022-23.
