BFI agreed to become a member of World Boxing

BCGCL floats tender for Coal Gasification Project at Odisha

  • Bharat Coal Gasification & Chemicals Limited (BCGCL), a joint venture between Coal India Limited (CIL) and Bharat Heavy Electricals Limited (BHEL), has initiated a significant project in Odisha.
  • The project aims to establish India’s first commercial-scale Coal to Ammonium Nitrate plant using surface coal gasification (SCG) technology.
  • The LSTK-2 tender focuses on the Syngas Purification Plant and Ammonia Synthesis Gas Plant, which will process raw syngas from the coal gasifier to make it suitable for ammonia synthesis.
  • The entire project cost is estimated at ₹11,782 crores. The venture represents a strategic foray into coal-to-chemical business by these two PSUs.

World No Tobacco Day 2024
