CBSE Class 12 Topper 2025
Uttar Pradesh students are making headlines across the country after three brilliant minds — Savi Jain from Shamli, Shlokaa Upadhyaya from Ghaziabad, and Karan Pilania from Meerut — secured a near-perfect score of 499 out of 500 in the CBSE Class 12 Board Exams 2025.
CBSE board 2025 results were announced on 13th May.
While each student comes from a different academic stream and background, they all share one common formula for success: consistency, discipline, and deep focus on NCERT books.
1. Karan Pilania – The Future Engineer from Meerut
Karan, a student of City Vocation Public School, Meerut, excelled in the Science stream with 100 marks each in Physics, Maths, English Core, and Painting, and 99 in Chemistry.
- A proud son of a Border Security Force (BSF) personnel, Karan’s father is currently posted in Jammu and Kashmir.

Alongside board exams, Karan aced JEE Mains with 99.85 percentile and is now eyeing one of the top 5 IITs for Computer Science.
“I’ve always dreamt of becoming an engineer,” he said. When not studying, Karan enjoys cricket and table tennis.

2. Savi Jain – The Civil Services Aspirant from Shamli
Studying humanities at Scottish International School, Saavi achieved 100 marks in English, Geography, Political Science, and Painting, and 99 in History.

- Coming from a humble background — her father runs a furniture shop and her mother is a homemaker — Savi’s story is truly inspirational.

“I was numb while checking my result. I had to read it twice to believe it,” she shared.
Currently preparing for CUET, her ultimate dream is to join the Indian Administrative Services (IAS) and serve the country.
3. Shlokaa Upadhyaya – The Multi-Talented Topper from Ghaziabad
A student of Delhi Public School, Raj Nagar Extension, Ghaziabad, Shlokaa also scored 499/500.
Passionate about music and swimming, she plans to graduate in Geography Honours before aiming for a career in civil services.
“Scoring 100 in theory-based subjects is no easy task,” she said. “But if you’re consistent, stick to the NCERT syllabus, and pay attention in class, anything is possible.”
South Still Dominates Overall Performance
While Uttar Pradesh celebrates its toppers, southern regions like Vijayawada (99.60%), Trivandrum (99.32%), Chennai (97.39%), and Bengaluru (95.95%) continue to lead in overall performance in CBSE Class 12 results this year.
