Opal Suchata Chuangsri a 21-year-old of Thailand has been crowned Miss World 2025.  The grand finale of the 72nd edition of the Miss World pageant was held on May 31, 2025, at the HITEX Exhibition Centre in Hyderabad, India. She was crowned by Miss World 2024, Krystyna Pyszkova.

She created history by winning the title and became Thailand’s first winner in the competition’s 72-year history.

Miss Ethiopia was the first runner-up, followed by Miss Poland and Miss Martinique, who secured the third and fourth places, respectively. The event was hosted by Indian presenter Sachin Kumbhar and former Miss World 2016, Stephanie Del Valle.

India’s Nandini Gupta in Top 18

India’s representative, Nandini Gupta, made it to the Top 18 contestants but did not advance to the Top 8 finalists. She was among the fast-tracked contestants earlier in the competition but could not make it to the final round.

According to her profile on the Miss World official platform, Opal Suchata Chuangsri is a student of International Relations and aspires to become an ambassador.
