Key Changes in CUET UG 2025
1. Flexible Subject Selection
Candidates can now opt for any subject in CUET UG 2025, irrespective of the subjects studied in their Class 12 curriculum. This provides greater flexibility for students to explore diverse academic disciplines.
2. Limited Subject Choices
The number of subjects available for selection in CUET UG 2025 has been reduced from 63 to 37. Some of the removed subjects include:

Admissions for the discontinued subjects will now be based on the General Aptitude Test scores.
3. Revised Subject Selection Limit

4. Computer-Based Test (CBT) Mode

Language Subjects in CUET UG 2025
For the 13 primary languages
- (English, Hindi, Assamese, Bengali, Gujarati, Kannada, Malayalam, Marathi, Odia, Punjabi, Tamil, Telugu, Urdu), language-specific exams will be conducted in the same format as CUET-UG 2024.
- However, for the remaining languages, including foreign languages (20 as per CUET-UG 2024), admissions will be based on performance in the General Aptitude Test.
